Training of KLM Composite Structure Specialists
EFC owner Bert Groenewoud was hired by his former employer, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Training Department to teach KLM five most experienced Composite Technicians to become ‘Composite Structure Specialists’. In this role they will be approved by the Airworthiness Authority to sign off repaired composite parts to release for flight.
This was done in a 6 week long lecture program with all necessary composites related subjects and OEM regulatory documents with a final examination per module subject according to the rules of the Dutch Airworthiness Authority, KLM and CACRC.
The Composite Structure Analysis part and Math Modules were taught and tested by examination by Composite Structure & FEM Engineer, ‘Faris Ustamujic’ who currently works for Dutch Space NL.
